A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night London as Molly McCann is in action against Ashlee Evans-Smith.
James Edwards of Fighters Only first reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
McCann (10-2-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a three fight winning streak, defeating the trio of Priscila Cachoeira, Ariane Lipski and Diana Belbita. McCann has suffered a single defeat thus far in the UFC and that came to Gillian Robertson at UFC Fight Night Liverpool. McCann is a former Cage Warriors Women’s Flyweight Champion, defeating Bryony Tyrell to win the gold at Cage Warriors 90.
Evans-Smith (6-4-0) has won just one of her last four in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Bec Rawlings at UFC 223. Evans-Smith also competed once in the World Series Of Fighting, defeating Marciea Allen by third round TKO at the WSOF 10. Evans-Smith has competed a total of ten times as a professional MMA fighter and half of her bouts have gone the distance.
UFC Fight Night London takes place on Saturday, March 21 from the 02 Arena in London, England with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
