A women?s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Boston according to MMA Fighting as Molly McCann is going to be in action against Diana Belbita.
McCann (9-2-0) will enter the contest while on the strength of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Priscila Cachoeira and Ariane Lipski. McCann is a former Cage Warriors Women?s Flyweight Champion, defeating Bryony Tyrell at Cage Warriors 90 to claim the gold. McCann has picked up nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of decision.
Belbita (11-4-0) is going to be making her UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a two fight winning streak. Belbita is going to be back in action for the first time in over a year, with her last bout taking place in August of 2018. Belbita has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and three of them came by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night Boston takes place on Friday, October 18 from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts with Dominick Reyes and Chris Weidman headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
