A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 234 according to the Daily Telegraph as Montana De La Rosa is going to be in action against Nadia Kassem.
De La Rosa (9-4-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Rachael Ostovich and Christina Marks. De La Rosa also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26, making it to the quarterfinals of the reality show before losing to Nicco Montano. De La Rosa hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost two years, with that last loss coming to fellow UFC fighter Cynthia Calvillo at Legacy Fighting Alliance 1.
Kassem (5-0-0) has already picked up a single victory in UFC competition, defeating Alex Chambers by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Sydney. Kassem is also returning to action for the first time in over a year, with her last fight taking place in November of 2017. Kassem has picked up five wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of them have come by KO/TKO.
