De La Rosa (11-6-0) has won just one of her last three in the UFC, with that single win coming over Mara Romero Borella at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo. De La Rosa competed on the Ultimate Fighter 26, making it to the quarterfinals of the reality show before losing to Nicco Montano. De La Rosa has picked up 11 wins as a pro MMA fighter, but none of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Santos (16-1-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Molly McCann at UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Ige. Santos competed on Dana White?s Contender Series Brazil Episode 2, defeating Estefani Almeida by unanimous decision. Santos has competed 17 times as a professional MMA fighter and just five of those encounters went the distance.
UFC Vegas 16 takes place on Saturday, December 5 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
