Report: MVP Making Second Boxing Appearance Later This Month

Bellator MMA star Michael “Venom” Page was last seen in the cage at Bellator 200, where he scored a second round submission win over David Rickels.

With his latest MMA venture behind him, it would appear that MVP will step back into the boxing ring for a second time.

Page is taking on Polish boxer Michal Ciach on Friday, June 15 according to a report by Bloody Elbow. The bout is set to take place at York Hall in London, England and it will be an under card fight for a card being headlined by Olympic silver medalist Joe Joyce.

MVP made his professional boxing debut in 2017, defeating the unheralded Jonathan Castano by third round TKO.

Ciach won’t prove to be a step up in competition for Page, as Ciach holds a 1-5-0 record as a pro and he is currently in the midst of a five bout losing streak. Ciach’s lone win did come by knockout, but he has also been on the wrong side of a knockout in the boxers last two bouts.

There is no word yet on when MVP is planning on returning to the Bellator cage, but more should be known after his latest quest in the boxing ring is completed.
