A lightweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 235 as Nainoa Dung is going to be in action against Zach Zane.
KHON2 out of Hawaii first reported the news, although the bouts placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
Dung (3-0-0) has already picked up two wins under the Bellator MMA banner, having defeated the duo of Kona Oliveira and Brad Robison. Dung has picked up three wins as a professional MMA fighter, with one win by KO/TKO, one win by submission and one win by decision. Dung also competed in the X-1 World Events promotion, defeating Kris Berberich at X-1 World Events 50: Day 1 in August of 2018.
Zane (10-7-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so having won six of the last seven bouts. Zane last competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 2, suffering a unanimous decision loss to Justin Gonzales. Zane has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them have come by way of submission.
Bellator 235 takes place on Saturday, December 21 from the Neil S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii with Ilima-Lei Macfarlane and Kate Jackson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on DAZN.
