A lightweight division encounter could be coming to UFC Fight Night London as Nasrat Haqparast faces Alex Reyes.
MMA Today first reported the potential bout.
Haqparast (8-2-0) is currently winless under the UFC banner, dropping a decision to Marcin Held at UFC Fight Night Gdansk. Haqparast has only seen one of his ten professional MMA fights go the distance and that was the aforementioned bout at UFC Fight Night Gdansk. Haqparast is also a veteran of the We Love MMA promotion, winning four of the five fights he competed at there.
Reyes (13-3-0) is also winless thus far during his UFC tenure, dropping a bout to Mike Perry by first round knockout at UFC Fight Night Pittsburgh. Reyes is a former King Of The Cage Lightweight Champion, defeating Victor Meza to win the gold in 2014. Reyes has only seen of of his professional MMA fights go the distance and that contest took place over a decade ago.
UFC Fight Night London takes place on Saturday, March 17 from The 02 in London, England with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced at this time.
