A welterweight division affair has been added to UFC Fight Night Boise according to Mark La Monica of Newsday as Niko Price faces Randy Brown.
Price (11-1-0-1NC) has won three of five under the UFC banner, with his last win coming over George Sullivan at UFC On Fox 27. Price has yet to see any of his bouts in the UFC go the distance, with only two of the five going past the opening round. Price has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against Vicente Luque at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo.
Brown (10-2-0) has won three of his last four in UFC competition, with those wins coming over the trio of Erick Montano, Brian Camozzi and Mickey Gall. Brown has seen his last two bouts go the distance and it has been nearly two years since the competitor got a finish. Brown also competed six times in the Ring Of Combat promotion, winning four of those bouts by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night Boise takes place on Saturday, July 14 from the Century Link Arena in Boise, Idaho with Junior Dos Santos and Blagoy Ivanov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
