Report: Nordine Taleb Faces Siyar Bahadurzada At UFC Fight Night Ottawa

A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Ottawa according to MMA Fighting as Nordine Taleb is going to be in action against Siyar Bahadurzada.

Taleb (14-6-0) will enter the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Sean Strickland and Claudio Henrique Da Silva. Taleb hasn?t win a fight in well over a year, with his last victory coming back at UFC On Fox 26 in December of 2017. Taleb competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 19, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Mike King.

Bahadurzada (24-7-1) has won three of his last four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the trio of Luan Chagas, Rob Wilkinson and Brandon Thatch. Bahadurzada is undefeated on Fight Night cards, having picked up wins at UFC Fight Night Rotterdam and UFC Fight Night Atlantic City. Bahadurzada has seen nine of his professional MMA fights go the distance and the fighter has lost five of those encounters.

UFC Fight Night Ottawa takes place on Saturday, May 4 from the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
