A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Lincoln as Peter Barrett is in action against Danny Henry.
The Scrap first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Barrett (10-3-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so having won two of the last five fights. Barrett competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 10, defeating Sang Hoon Yoo by unanimous decision. Barrett has competed a total of thirteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance.
Henry (12-3-0) has won two of three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Daniel Teymur and Hakeem Dawodu. Henry is a former Extreme Fighting Championship Featherweight Champion, defeating Boyd Allen to win the gold at EFC 44. Henry has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and two of them came by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Lincoln takes place on Saturday, April 25 from the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska with Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
