A middleweight division attraction will headline Dana White?s Tuesday Night Contender Series Season 3. Episode 1 as Punahele Soriano is in action against Jamie Pickett.
Soriano (5-0-0) has competed five times as a professional MMA fighter and none of his bouts have gone past the opening round. Soriano did compete in the Professional Fighters League, defeating Jon Gover by first round TKO at PFL: Everett. Soriano also went undefeated as an amateur MMA fighter, with two wins coming under the Rumble World Entertainment banner.
Pickett (7-3-0) is winless thus far in DWTNCS competition, dropping a bout to Charles Byrd via first round submission at DWTNCS Episode 1. Pickett is returning to action for the first time in over a year, with his last fight happening in May of 2018. Pickett has picked up seven victories as a professional MMA fighter, with five of them coming by way of KO/TKO.
Other bouts on the card include Brok Weaver vs. Leon Shahbazyan, Kali Robbins vs. Hannah Goldy, Bill Algeo vs. Brendan Loughnane and Yorgan De Castro vs. Alton Meeks.
