A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC 234 according to Raphael Marinho of Combate as #15 Rani Yahya is in action against Ricky Simon.
Yahya (26-9-0-1NC) enters the contest on a three fight winning streak, having beaten the trio of Enrique Briones, Russell Doane and Luke Sanders. Yahya hasn’t suffered a loss in almost two years, with that last defeat coming against Joe Soto at UFC Fight Night 106. Yahya has picked up twenty six wins as a professional MMA fighter and twenty of them have come by way of submission.
Simon (14-1-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, picking up victories over the duo of Merab Dvalishvili and Montel Jackson. Simon will also enter the bout while riding a seven fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a loss in almost three years. Simon has picked up fourteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of those victories came by way of decision.
