Report: Raquel Pennington Faces Germaine De Randamie At UFC Fight Night Denver

A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to the UFC Fight Night Denver card according to MMA Fighting as #4 Raquel Pennington faces #5 Germaine De Randamie.

Pennington (9-6-0) is competing for the first time since losing a UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title bout to Amanda Nunes at UFC 224. Pennington also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 18, making it to the semi-finals before losing to Jessica Rakoczy. Pennington also won just one of three while competing in Invicta FC, with that victory coming over Sarah Moras at Invicta FC 2.

De Randamie (7-3-0) is the first ever UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion, defeating Holly Holm to win the gold at UFC 208. De Randamie also returns to action for the first time in almost two years, with her last bout coming in December of 2016. De Randamie hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost five years, with that last loss coming to Amanda Nunes at UFC Fights For The Troops 3.

UFC Fight Night Denver takes place on Saturday, November 10 from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado with Frankie Edgar and Chan Sung Jung headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
