A bantamweight division attraction is the latest addition to the UFC Fight Night Denver card according to Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting as Ricardo Ramos faces Ricky Simon.
Ramos (12-1-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, defeating the trio of Michinori Tanaka, Aiemann Zahabi and Kyung Ho Kang. Ramos has seen all three of his UFC bouts make it into the third round, with two of them going the distance. Ramos has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against Manny Vazquez at Legacy FC 51.
Simon (14-1-0) is also undefeated thus far in UFC competition, with his wins coming over the duo of Merab Dvalishvili and Montel Jackson. Simon also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 5, defeating Donovan Frelow by split decision. Simon is also a former Legacy Fighting Alliance Bantamweight Champion, defeating UFC veteran Chico Camus by decision to win the gold at LFA 29.
UFC Fight Night Denver takes place on Saturday, November 10 from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado with Frankie Edgar and Chan Sung Jung headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
