Report: Rick Story Faces Carlton Minus At PFL 6

A welterweight division fight has been added to the upcoming PFL 6 card according to Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA as Rick Story faces Carlton Minus.

Story (20-9-0) is undefeated thus far in the first season of the PFL, defeating Yuri Villefort by unanimous decision at PFL 3. Story spent over seven years competing in the UFC, picking up notable wins over Brian Foster, Johny Hendricks, Thiago Alves, Gunnar Nelson and Tarec Saffiedine. Story has suffered a total of nine losses as a professional MMA fighter and seven of those defeats came by way of decision.

Minus (9-0-0) is going to be making his PFL debut, stepping in for Paul Bradley, who pulled out of a bout against Story for unknown reasons. Minus has spent the majority of his professional MMA career competing in the Alaska Fighting Championships, where the fighter holds a win over UFC veteran Justin Buchholz. Minus is competing outside of the AFC banner for the first time in two years, with the only other promotion he competed in being AK Entertainment.

Professional Fighters League 6 takes place on Thursday, August 16 from the Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey with Ray Cooper III and Pavel Kusch headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the NBC Sports Network.
