A fight between former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker and Paulo Costa has been reportedly been set to headline a UFC event in April, and much, much more ? Fightful has all the latest fight announcements in one article.

Robert Whittaker vs. Paulo Costa headlining bout targeted for UFC event in April

Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker will continue his climb back to the mountain top of the 185-pound division, as he's set to take on Paulo Costa on April 17 at a yet to be announced UFC event. First reported by Sherdog.com's Marcelo Alonso, the middleweight clash will serve as the main event of the card, and although the promotion is yet to officially announce anything the likely location for the bout will be Las Vegas. Whittaker has won back-to-back fights over Darren Till and Jared Cannonier since losing the middleweight crown to Israel Adesanya back at UFC 243 via a second-round knockout. The Brazilian on the other end will look to rebound from the first defeat of his professional career, also at the hands of Adesanya and via a stoppage in the second round at UFC 253. 

Darren Till vs. Marvin Vettori planned for UFC Fight Night on April 10

Another important middleweight clash is being targeted a week prior to the Whittaker versus Costa matchup, ESPN's Brett Okamoto reported that Darren Till and Marvin Vettori have verbally agreed to a headlining bout at an unannounced UFC Fight Night event on April 10. Till who is 1-3 in his last four fights is coming off an MCL tear he suffered in his decision loss to Robert Whittaker at UFC Fight Island and a broken foot he suffered during training last month. Vettori however is on a four-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Jack Hermansson by a unanimous decision at UFC on Vegas 16. The Italian contender even called for a fight with Till via Twitter back on December 12 of last year and with the former UFC welterweight title challenger happily accepting.

Dustin Jacoby takes on Maxim Grishin at UFC event on February 27

A matchup between light heavyweight strikers Dustin Jacoby and Maxim Grishin has been added to an upcoming UFC event on February 27. MMAFighting's Mike Heck reported the news first but the promotion has yet to make an announcement for the event or fight. Jacoby also confirmed that he accepted the fight via his Instagram account and will try to win his fourth consecutive fight over Grishin, after finishing Justin Ledet via a first-round stoppage caused by leg kicks in his lasting outing at UFC Vegas 12. Grishin will try to start a streak of his own with a victory over Jacoby, coming off of a second-round stoppage victory over Gadzhimurad Antigulov at UFC Fight Island 6.

KSW 58 headlined by Parnasse-Torres featherweight title tilt

KSW 58 goes down this Saturday, January 30 from Lodz, Poland, and will be headlined by a featherweight title fight between undefeated champion Salahdine Parnasse and Daniel Torres. Parnasse is one of the sport's brightest young prospects and coming off the best win of his career, defeating longtime MMA veteran Ivan Buchinger via a unanimous decision at KSW 52. Torres the title challenger will look to derail the Frenchman's hype, after taking back-to-back decision wins over Max Coga and Filip Pejic in his last two bouts. 

Zak Cummings vs. Sam Alvey reported for April 10 UFC card

Sam Alvey will drop back down to the middleweight division after going 2-4-1 in his recent run at light heavyweight. In his return to 185 pounds, MMAJunkie's Farah Hannoun has reported that Alvey will take on Zak Cummings in a bout planned for a UFC Fight Night event on April 10, the promotion is yet to make the event or fight official. Cummings himself made a return to the middleweight division recently and is 3-1 since making the switch from 170 pounds.
