A featherweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 232 according to Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA as Robin Van Roosmalen is in action against Cris Lencioni.
Van Roosmalen (2-0-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over three years. Van Roosmalen is also going to be competing for the first time in over two years, as his last bout took place in February of 2017. Van Roosmalen has had a lot of success as a professional kickboxing, holding two titles in two different weight classes when competing in GLORY.
Lencioni (4-2-0) has won two of four bouts under the Bellator MMA banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Thomas Lopez and Adil Benjilany. Lencioni has competed six times as a professional MMA fighter and half of those encounters went the distance. Lencioni went undefeated during his time as an amateur MMA fighter, with four wins coming in the Full Contact Fighting Federation promotion.
Bellator 232 takes place on Saturday, October 26 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Rory MacDonald and Douglas Lima headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
