A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Minneapolis according to MMA Fighting as Roosevelt Roberts is in action against Vinc Pichel.
Roberts (8-0-0) has already picked up a pair of wins under the UFC banner, defeating the duo of Darrell Horcher and Thomas Gifford. Roberts also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 15, defeating Garrett Gross by second round submission. Roberts has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them have come by way of submission.
Pichel (11-2-0) has won four of his last five in the UFC, with those wins coming over the four pack of Garrett Whiteley, Anthony Njokuani, Damien Brown and Joaquim Silva. Pichel is back in action for the first time in over a year, with that last bout taking place at UFC Fight Night Utica in June of 2018. Pichel has seen just three of his professional MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter won all three of those encounters.
UFC Fight Night Minneapolis takes place on Saturday, June 29 from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota with Tyron Woodley and Robbie Lawler headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
