Report: Ross Pearson Faces Desmond Green At UFC Fight Night Philadelphia

A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Philadelphia according to MMA Fighting as Ross Pearson is going to be in action against Desmond Green.

Pearson (20-15-0-1NC) has won just one of his last six fights under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Mizuto Hirota at UFC 221. Pearson was the lightweight winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 9, defeating Andre Winner in the finals of the reality show. Pearson has fought thirty six times as a professional MMA fighter and almost half of his bouts have gone the distance.

Green (21-8-0) is coming into this contest have won just one of his last four, with that victory coming over Gleison Tibau at UFC Fight Night Utica. Green has seen his last eight fights go the distance and it has been almost three years since the fighter got a finish. Green is a former Titan Fighting Championship Featherweight Champion, defeating Steven Siler to win the gold at Titan FC 32.

UFC Fight Night Philadelphia takes place on Saturday, March 30 from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with Edson Barboza and Justin Gaethje headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
