A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Prague according to Khabilov himself as Rustam Khabilov is in action against Carlos Diego Ferreira.
Khabilov (23-3-0) enters the contest on the strength of a six fight winning streak, last defeating Kajan Johnson by split decision at UFC Fight Night Moscow. Khabilov hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost four years, with that last loss coming against Adriano Martins at UFC Fight Night 61. Khabilov has seen his last seven fights go the distance and it has been over five years since the fighter got a finish.
Ferreira (14-2-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a three fight winning streak, having beaten the trio of Olivier Aubin-Mercier, Jared Gordon and Kyle Nelson. Ferreira has suffered just two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both of them came during UFC competition. Ferreira is also a former Legacy Fighting Championship Lightweight Champion, defeating Jorge Patino to win the gold at Legacy FC 25.
UFC Fight Night Prague takes place on Saturday, February 23 from the 02 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic with Jan Blachowicz and Thiago Santos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
