A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Prague according to Alvey himself as Sam Alvey is in action against Gadzhimurad Antigulov.
Alvey (33-11-0-1NC) has won two of his last three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Gian Villante and Marcin Prachnio. Alvey has competed as a middleweight and light heavyweight in the UFC, earning an overall record of 10-6-0 in the promotion. Alvey has suffered eleven losses as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them have come by way of decision.
Antigulov (20-5-0) is looking to rebound from his first UFC defeat, which came against Ion Cutelaba at UFC On Fox 30. Antigulov has competed twenty five times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of his bouts have gone the distance. Antigulov has picked up a total of fifteen wins by submission as a professional MMA fighter, which includes two victories by tap out in the UFC.
UFC Fight Night Prague takes place on Saturday, February 23 from the 02 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic with Jan Blachowicz and Thiago Santos headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
