However, a short time after settling with USADA, it has been revealed by MMA Junkie that O?Malley has also reached a settlement with the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) that will clear him to fight this March at UFC 248.
O?Malley will serve a nine month suspension for a drug test failure in 2019, but that suspension is retroactive and ends on February 26 of this year. O?Malley will also have to take a multitude of random drug tests in the lead up to UFC 248, with three of them happening 30 days, 15 days and 3 days before the event.
MMA Junkie also reports that ?the tests cannot show traces of ostarine at a number equal to or greater than 100 picograms per milliliter.?
The fighter also must pay a total of $872.16 in legal fees before being fully reinstated to fight again by the NAC. If O?Malley cannot pay the fine in full, a payment plan must be agreed upon to clear the fighter for a return at UFC 248.
