Antonina Shevchenko, who is the sister of UFC fighter Valentina Shevchenko, is set to headline Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 11 against Silvana Juarez.
That main event is now in jeopardy as a report from MMA Junkie is stating that Juarez has suffered an injury and is off the card, although the extent of the injury is unknown. Shevchenko is expected to remain on the card at this time, as DWTNCS officials are seeking a replacement opponent for her to fight.
Shevchenko (5-0-0) is set to make her DWTNCS debut in this encounter and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over 16 years. Shevchenko once took a twelve year break from MMA competition, opting not to fight from July 2005 to September 2017. Shevchenko has seen four of her five professional MMA fights end by way of decision, while the other victory came by TKO.
Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 11 takes place on Tuesday, June 26 from the UFC Gym in Las Vegas, Nevada with Antonina Shevchenko and an opponent to be announced headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
