Report: Steven Peterson Faces Humberto Bandenay At UFC Fight Night Austin

A bantamweight division affair could be coming to the UFC Fight Night Austin card per Farah Hannoun as Steven Peterson may fight Humberto Bandenay.

Peterson (16-6-0) actually suffered a defeat on DWTNCS Episode 7 to Benito Lopez and that loss came by way of decision. Peterson is a longtime veteran of the Legacy Fighting Championship and Legacy Fighting Alliance, earning notable wins over Matt Hobar, Caio Machado, Ryan Hollis and Dustin Winter. Peterson had challenged for the LFA Bantamweight Title, losing to Bellator MMA fighter Leandro Higo at LFA 1.
