Report: Taura MMA 10 Card Loses Three Fights Due To COVID-19

COVID-19 is wreaking havoc on the upcoming Taura MMA 10 card as three fights have been removed from the event due to COVID-19.

MMA Fighting is reporting that a fight between Rousimar Palhares and Antonio Gordillo was pulled from the card after Gordillo wasn’t allowed to leave his hometown of Catamarca, Brazil due to the areas lockdown due to COVID-19. Also, a pair of bouts were canceled due to positive COVID-19 tests, with those fights being Bruna Vargas vs. Maria Laura Alves and Isaque Moura vs. Gian Sarturi.

Taura 10 will move on with nine fights, with the new card featuring:

Felipe Gheno (c) vs. Bruno Mesquita — Taura Flyweight Title Bout
Ary Farias vs. Johnny Campbell — Taura Interim Bantamweight Title Bout
Serginho Moraes vs. Jared Revel
Wendell Oliveira vs. Rene Pessoa
Nilton Gaviao vs. Manoel dos Santos
Thiago Oliveira vs. Andrey Augusto
Denis Silva vs. Kaue Rodrigues
Thaiane Souza vs. Simoni Santos
Pedro Finger vs. Tiago Souza
