A lightweight division attraction has been added to the UFC Fight Night Moncton card according to Nolan King of Flo Combat as Te Edwards is in action against Don Madge.
Edwards (6-1-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and does so on the strength of a five bout winning streak. Edwards competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 11, defeating Austin Tweedy by first round knockout. Edwards has competed a total of seven times as a professional MMA fighter and only one of those bouts got out of the first round.
Madge (7-3-1) is also going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and the fighter is currently riding a four bout winning streak. Madge is also going to be returning to action for the first time in well over a year, with his last bout happening in April of 2017. Madge is also a former EFC Worldwide Lightweight Champion, defeating Costa Ioannou to win the gold in June of 2013.
