A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC 235 according to Nolan King of Flo Combat as #13 Thomas Almeida is in action against Marlon Vera.
Almeida (21-3-0) has won just one of his last four fights under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Albert Morales at UFC Fight Night 100. Almeida has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came in UFC competition. Almeida has picked up twenty one wins as a professional MMA fighter and seventeen of them have come by KO/TKO.
Vera (12-5-1) enters the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, having defeated the duo of Wuliji Buren and Guido Cannetti. Vera hasn?t suffered a defeat in almost a year, with that last loss coming against Douglas Silva De Andrade at UFC Fight Night Belem. Vera has suffered five defeats as a professional MMA fighter and each of them have come by way of decision.
