Report: Three Fights Set For TUF 27 Finale, Roxanne Modafferi In Action

Three fights have been added to the UFC Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal as #5 Roxanne Modafferi faces #6 Barb Honchak, #14 Montana De La Rosa faces #15 Rachael Ostovich and Alessio Di Chirico faces Julian Marquez.

Modafferi (21-14-0) is currently winless in her two runs with the UFC, dropping bouts to both Raquel Pennington and UFC Women’s Flyweight Champion Nicco Montano. Modafferi competed on both the UFC Ultimate Fighter 18 and UFC Ultimate Fighter 26, winning three fights on the reality show.

Honchak (10-3-0) is also winless thus far in her UFC tenure, dropping a bout to Lauren Murphy at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale. Honchak is also a former Invicta FC Flyweight Champion, defeating Vanessa Porto to win the belt at Invicta FC 5.

De La Rosa (8-4-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Christina Marks at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale. De La Rosa also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26, making it to the quarterfinals before losing to Nicco Montano.

Ostovich (4-3-0) is also undefeated thus far in her time with the UFC, defeating Karine Gevorgyan at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26 Finale. Ostovich won two of four during her time in Invicta FC, with those wins coming over Evva Johnson and Ariel Beck.

Di Chirico (11-2-0) has won two of four during his time in the UFC, with those wins coming over Garreth McClellan and Oluwale Bamgbose. Di Chirico also won the IMMAF 2014 World Championships as an amateur fighter, defeating Eivind Kjonsvik in the finals.

Marquez (7-1-0) is currently undefeated in UFC competition, having defeated Darren Stewart by submission at UFC On Fox 26. Marquez also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 4, defeating Phil Hawes by second round knockout.

UFC Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale takes place on Friday, July 6 from The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
