Although Combate first reported the bout, it was MMA Junkie that reported that the flyweight strap is going to be on the line back on November 7. UFC confirmed the bout Monday night.

Dillashaw (16-3-0) is currently in the midst of his second reign as the UFC Bantamweight Champion, last defending it against Cody Garbrandt at UFC 227.
