A pair of bouts have reportedly been added to the upcoming Bellator 243 card as Matt Mitrione faces Timothy Johnson and Curtis Millender faces Sabah Homasi.
MMA Junkie reported the Mitrione vs. Johnson fight, while MMA Fighting reported the Millender vs. Homasi encounter.
Mitrione (13-7-0-1NC) hasn’t picked up a victory in over two years, with his last win coming over Roy Nelson at Bellator 194. Johnson (13-6-0) has won just one of three under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone win coming over Tyrell Fortune at Bellator 239.
Millender (18-5-0) is undefeated thus far during his third run with Bellator MMA, having defeated Moses Murrietta by unanimous decision at Bellator 238. Homasi (13-8-0) has won two of four during his multiple runs in Bellator MMA, with those wins coming over the duo of Eric Moon and Micah Terrill.
Bellator 243 takes place on Friday, August 7 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Michael Chandler and Ben Henderson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
