Report: Two Late Additions To Bellator 204, Including Two Pro Debuts

A pair of bouts are late additions to the Bellator 204 card according to MMA Junkie as Lloyd McKinney faces Robiel Tesfaldet and Wyatt Meyer faces Jeff Nielsen.

McKinney (7-5-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so while on a two fight losing streak. McKinney also returns to action for the first time in almost two years, with his last bout happening in January of 2017.

Tesfaldet (1-1-0) is also going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and the fighter has yet to escape the first round since turning pro last year. Tesfaldet also competed once in the Legacy Fighting Alliance, defeating Anthony Yost by first round TKO at LFA 19.

Meyer (0-0-0) is not only going to be making a Bellator MMA debut in this fight, but his professional MMA debut as well. Meyer did compete once as an amateur MMA fighter, defeating Andrew Yatskis by second round submission at North Star Combat 8.

Nielsen (0-0-0) is in the same boat as his opponent at this event, with the fighter making the Bellator MMA debut and professional MMA debut on the same night. Nielsen competed twice as an amateur fighter, but this will mark his first fight of any kind in over six years.

Bellator 204 takes place on Friday, August 17 from the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Fallas, South Dakota with Darrion Caldwell and Noad Lahat headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
