MMA

A pair of bouts have been added to the upcoming Bellator 209 card according to MMA Junkie as Ryan Couture faces Haim Gozali in a rematch and UFC veteran Cindy Dandois faces Olga Rubin.

Couture (11-6-0) won the initial meeting between himself and Gozali at Bellator 180 and that victory came by way of unanimous decision. Couture has won just one of his last four under the Bellator MMA banner and that aforementioned win over Gozali serves as that lone victory.

Gozali (8-5-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout his run in Bellator MMA, with the last fight being a decision loss to Jose Campos at Bellator 192. Gozali has picked up a total of eight wins as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to earn a victory by way of decision.

Dandois (12-3-0) is going to be making her Bellator MMA debut in this fight and does so on the strength of a four bout winning streak. Dandois only competed once under the UFC banner and that was a decision loss to Alexis Davis at UFC Fight Night 108.

Rubin (4-0-0) has already competed twice in the Bellator MMA cage, defeating the duo of Laurita Cibirite and Joana Filipa Magalhaes. Rubin is also returning to action for the first time in almost a year by the time the bout happens, as her last fight took place in November of 2017.

Bellator 209 takes place on Thursday, November 15 from the Menora Mivtachim Arena in Tel Aviv, Israel with Patricio Pitbull and Emmanuel Sanchez headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
