Report: UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Harris Brings In Over 1 Million Viewers

The UFC concluded their three pack of events last week with UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs. Harris, which was headlined by Alistair Overeem scoring a second round TKO win over Walt Harris.

A five fight main card aired live on ESPN and Showbuzz Daily reports that the main card averaged 1.198 million viewers. This would mean that the main card was the second highest rated UFC main card on ESPN, with UFC Fight Night Phoenix being the only other main card to have a higher average viewership. Other fights on the main card saw Claudia Gadelha defeat Angela Hill, Dan Ige defeat Edson Barboza, Krzysztof Jotko defeat Eryk Anders and Song Yadong defeat Marlon Vera.

There was also a six fight preliminary card that aired live on ESPN and that brought in an average of 690,000 viewers according to Showbuzz Daily. The six fights on the preliminary card saw Miguel Baeza defeat Matt Brown, Kevin Holland defeat Anthony Hernandez, Cortney Casey defeat Mara Romero Borella, Nate Landwehr defeat Darren Elkins, Rodrigo Nascimento defeat Don’Tale Mayes and Giga Chikadze defeat Irwin Rivera.

Up next for the UFC is UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Burns, which airs live on ESPN on Saturday, May 30.
