UFC veteran Jason “Mayhem” Miller has been arrested again according to the City News Service and is being held without bail in an Orange County, California jail.
Miller was charged with felony vandalism after allegedly entering a woman’s home this past Friday destroying some of her property. Some of the destroyed property includes a marble table, while holes were also punched in doors, removing doors and derailing a garage door.
The former UFC star was arrested at the scene of the crime by the La Habra Police Department. Vandalism becomes a felony crime once the damage surpasses $400 and the damage Miller did exceeded that amount.
This new crime could pose a huge issue for Miller, who was already on probation for corporal injury on a spouse or co-inhabitant, which happened in 2017. Miller is due in court on Wednesday, October 31 and if the judge rules against him, it could mean a four year jail sentence for the former UFC star due to violating the previous plea deal, although Miller did plead not guilty at the arraignment this past Tuesday.
Cameron Tally is Miller’s lawyer and he has faith that the former fighter can still put his life back together:
”Jason is a great guy and I love him like a brother. It is incredibly sad to see these continued police contacts, but I have faith he can straighten out his life.”
MMA fans last saw Miller in action at Venator FC 3 in May of 2016, suffering a second round submission loss to Mattia Schiavolin. Miller hasn’t picked up a win in a professional MMA fight in over eight years, with that last victory coming over Kazushi Sakuraba at Dream 16.
