Another European fighter has been signed to a multi-fight contract with Bellator MMA according to MMA Fighting as Paul Redmond has inked a deal with the promotion.

Redmond (14-8-0) has already competed once under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating Sergio De Jesus Santos by unanimous decision at Bellator 187. Redmond also competed twice in the UFC, dropping bouts to the duo of Mirsad Bektic and Robert Whiteford. Redmond also won seven of eight fights during a stint with the Cage Warriors promotion and that includes a win over another recent Bellator signee in Lewis Long. Redmond was last seen in action earlier this year at KSW MMA 44, suffering a second round knockout loss to Gracjan Szadzinski.

The fighter will compete in the lightweight division, which is currently ruled by Brent Primus, who became champion by defeating Michael Chandler at Bellator 180.

There is no word at this time as to when Redmond is going to be making his promotional return or whom that opponent is going to be when that time comes.

Bellator MMA has been on a signing spree as of late, with those others inking contracts with the promotion being Richard Kiely, Lewis Long and Keifer Crosbie.
