Report: Umar Nurmagomedov Faces Sidemar Honorio At PFL Season 2, Week 6

A bantamweight division attraction has been added to PFL Season 2, Week 6 according to MMA Fighting as Umar Nurmagomedov is going to be in action against Sidemar Honorio.

Nurmagomedov (10-0-0) competed once in the first season of the PFL, defeating Saidyokub Kakhramonov by unanimous decision. Nurmagomedov has competed ten times as a professional MMA fighter and half of those encounters went the distance. Nurmagomedov is the cousin of Khabib Nurmagomedov, who is the current UFC Lightweight Champion.

Honorio (13-6-0) is going to be making his PFL debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a two fight winning streak. Honorio is a former Cage Fury Fighting Championship Bantamweight Champion, defeating Lincoln De Sa Oliveira to win the gold at CFFC 49 in June of 2015. Honorio has picked up a total of thirteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of those victories have come by way of decision.

PFL Season 2, Week 6 takes place on Thursday, August 8 from the Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey with Kelvin Tiller and Denis Goltsov headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
