A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Uruguay according to MMA Uncensored 1 as #15 Vicente Luque is in action against Mike Perry.
Luque (16-6-1) enters the contest while in the midst of a five fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over two years. Luque has competed eleven times under the UFC banner and just two of those bouts went the distance. Luque has suffered two defeats during his UFC tenure, with those losses coming to the duo of Michael Graves and Leon Edwards.
Perry (13-4-0) has won two of his last five heading into this encounter, with those wins coming over Paul Felder and Alex Oliveira. Perry has suffered four defeats as a professional MMA fighter and all of those losses came in UFC competition. Perry has picked up thirteen wins as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to earn a victory by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night Uruguay takes place on Saturday, August 10 from the Antel Arena in Montevideo, Uruguay with Valentina Shevchenko and Liz Carmouche headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
