A light heavyweight division attraction may be added to UFC Fight Night London according to Tom Taylor of BJPenn.com as #6 Volkan Oezdemir is going to be in action against #8 Dominick Reyes.
Oezdemir (15-3-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Daniel Cormier and Anthony Smith. Oezdemir has previously challenged for the UFC Light Heavyweight Title, losing to then champion Daniel Cormier at UFC 220. Oezdemir has picked up fifteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Reyes (10-0-0) has already picked up four wins in UFC competition, last defeating Ovince St. Preux by unanimous decision at UFC 229. Reyes has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of those bouts ended within the opening round. Reyes also went undefeated as an amateur MMA fighter and four of those wins came via first round finish.
UFC Fight Night London takes place on Saturday, March 16 from the 02 Arena in London, England with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
