Report: Yoel Romero vs. Paulo Costa Headlines UFC Fight Night Miami


A middleweight division attraction is going to headline UFC Fight Night Miami according to Combate as #1 Yoel Romero is going to be in action against #7 Paulo Costa.

Romero (13-3-0) is competing for the first time since losing to UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker in the main event of UFC 225. Romero will headline his fourth straight UFC event, holding a 1-2-0 record in those previous three headlining bouts. Romero has picked up thirteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of them have come by way of KO/TKO.

Costa (12-0-0) has already picked up four victories under the UFC banner, last defeating Uriah Hall by second round TKO at UFC 226. Costa has picked up twelve victories as a professional MMA fighter, with eleven wins coming by KO/TKO and a single win by submission. Costa has yet to have a professional MMA fight go the distance and only three of them have gotten past the opening round.

UFC Fight Night Miami takes place on Saturday, April 27 from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida with Yoel Romero and Paulo Costa headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
