Here's the main fight card (Showtime, 10 p.m. ET):

Danny Roman defeated Adam Lopez via TKO (corner stoppage), round 9, 3:00 to become the mandatory challenger for Nehomar Cermeno's WBA "regular" junior featherweight world title

Ronald Ellis defeated Christopher Brooker via unanimous decision (77-75, 79-73, 79-73)

Kenneth Sims Jr. defeated Emmanuel Robles via unanimous decision (78-73, 79-72, 79-72)

MAIN CARD

Kenneth Sims Jr. vs. Emmanuel Robles

Round 1: Robles starts off with a ferocious left hand, pressuring Sims to the ropes. Sims does not back down, using the right hand to dish out damage. The two men exchange punches, Robles with the left hand and Sims going to the body. Sims starts to work the body more with a right hook. Sims has Robles on the ropes and hits an uppercut on the body. Robles gets out of trouble with a spin. Sims connects on a left jab. Sims hits another uppercut to Robles' chin.

Fightful scored round 1 for Sims 10-9 

Round 2: Robles lands a right hook and Sims counters with several jabs to Robles' head. Robles lunges forward with a straight left. Sims then uses the jab to work the body, then follows up with an uppercut and left hook. SIms gets an uppercut on the inside against Robles. Sims hits a 3-punch combo, leading a left. Robles then has Sims on the ropes momentarily, but Sims gets out easily.

Fightful scored round 2 for Sims 10-9 

Round 3: Sims hits a left body hook, then a right hand to Robles' head. Robles has Sims on the ropes, but Sims blocks or dodges his way out of several punches thrown by Robles. Sims drops his mouthpiece and the fight is paused for him to get it back. Robles comes back with a hard left. Sims then takes the fight up close and uses several uppercuts to land various punches to Robles' chin. Sims keeps landing several power punches and then hits a hard left hand to Robles' chin. Robles isn't hurting too badly though.

Fightful scored round 3 for Sims 10-9  

Round 4: The two men start brawling, throwing wild punches, but neither man gets hurt too badly. Sims' body jab gets blocked, then lands a jab to Robles' chin. Robles misses a left hook. Sims' body jab gets blocked again. Both boxers are in a bit of break, barely throwing anything for about 30 seconds. Robles misses more punches, then Sims lands another body shot. The two men get on the inside but didn't lan anything hard to end the round.

Fightful scored round 4 for Sims 10-9 

Round 5: Robles closes the distance and lands a couple of punches to Sims' chin. Sims is in the corner and Robles is trying to land several punches, but they appear sluggish. Sims is moving around the ring, not throwing much. Sims lands a hard jab on Robles' chin. The two men clinch and Robles lands a couple of body hooks. Sims lands another jab. 

Fightful scored round 5 for Sims 10-9 

Round 6: Robles comes out with a land hand, but doesn't land hard. Robles connects hard, and Sims throws out his piece, prompting a point deduction. Robles goes to the body with a couple of uppercuts. Robles starts land more body shots. Robles has Sims in the corner, then lands a hard left to Sims' chin. Sims lands a jab. Robles comes back with a left. Robles now lands more of those left hand punches to end the round.

Fightful scored round 6 for Robles 10-8 

Round 7: Sims starts moving around the ring and Robles now chases and starts landing more punches. Sims lands a short hook to Robles' chin. The two men clinch near the ropes, but nothing happens. Robles keeps working the body, but Sims then responds with a body hook. Robles then lands an inside hook. Sims is moving around the ring and doesn't land much.

Fightful scored round 7 for Robles 10-9 

Round 8: Robles goes for a left hand, but it is blocked. The two men exchange hooks and Robles then goes for a left jab. Sims hits a couple of short hooks. Sims lands a jab to Robles' head. Robles connects on a hard left hook. Sims is now much more animated in this round and throwing more punches. Sims throws a flurry of body punches. Sims is landing several more punches as the fight ends.

Fightful scored round 8 for Sims 10-9, making it 77-74 for Sims 

Official Result: Kenneth Sims Jr. defeated Emmanuel Robles via unanimous decision (78-73, 79-72, 79-72) 

Ronald Ellis vs. Christopher Brooker

Round 1: Ellis begins with a left jab. The two men start to brawl in the clinch. Ellis lands a right hand and starts pressuring Brooker in the corner. Ellis lands maybe a dozen punches while Brooker can barely throw anything. Brooker lands an uppercut. He misses a right hook, and Ellis responds with several more power punches. Ellis keeps landing body shot after body shot in this fight. 

Fightful scored round 1 for Ellis 10-9

Round 2: Ellis is throwing the left jab to start off the round. Brooker is much more active, landing several side body shots. Ellis lands another jab. Ellis puts Brooker to the corner again and several more punches to Brooker followed. The two men clinch again and Brooker hits Ellis in the back of the head. The two men now trade big power shots. 

Fightful scored round 2 for Brooker 10-9

Round 3: Brooker is now working Ellis' body again, pressuring him to the ropes. Brooker lands an uppercut to Ellis. The two men clinch and afterwards, Ellis misses a hook to Brooker's head. The two men fight in the clinch once more. They start to trade short punches and Ellis lands a jab to Brooker. They clinch once more and Sims just slouches to the floor as the round ends.

Fightful scored round 3 for Ellis 10-9

Round 4: The two men clinch once more and Ellis starts landing several more short punches to Brooker's head. Ellis lands a big right hand to Brooker's head. Another clinch between the two. Brooker has Ellis on the ropes and Ellis reverses position and lands a couple of short uppercuts to Brooker's body. Ellis lands more power punches to Brooker's head. Not much activity closes the round.

Fightful scored round 4 for Ellis 10-9

Round 5: Ellis lands a jab to kick things off. Brooker throws a flurry of body punches. Ellis misses a hook and Brooker throws a couple of body shots. Ellis then goes to the body with a couple of hooks. Brooker lands a hook and Ellis hits it on the body once more. Brooker throws a body punch to end the round.

Fightful scored round 5 for Ellis 10-9

Round 6: The two men exchange jabs and Brooker goes to work on his opponent's body. Brooker is pushing Ellis to the rope and clinch once more. Ellis lands a left hand. Ellis goes to the body when the two clinch again and Ellis then unloads a number of unanswered power shots. Brooker lands a couple of jabs and the round ends with the two men clinching once more.

Fightful scored round 6 for Ellis 10-9

Round 7: Both men continued brawling until they get too close together and the referee is forced to separate the two. Ellis measures with the left jab. Both boxers clinch again. The two men start attacking the body up close. Brooker throws a weak left hook. The referee separates the two when they clinch yet again. Ellis connects on a clean jab.

Round 8: Ellis lands a right hook. Ellis unleashes a flurry of short punches to Brooker's body. Ellis connects on a short jab that Brooker walked into. The two men clinch for a little while. Brooker connects on a punch to the side of Ellis' body. Both men clinch yet again. Brooker lands a left hook to Ellis. Ellis hits Brooker and Brooker almost goes through the middle ropes, but it is not considered a knockdown.

Adam Lopez vs. Danny Roman: WBA junior Featherweight World Title Eliminator

Round 1: Lopez begins with a couple of crisp jabs. Both men exchange punches. Roman's shots have been mostly blocked so far. lopez blocks a left jab by Roman. Lopez lands a couple of left body shots. Lopez throws a couple of left jabs. Roman goes for a couple of three-punch combinations, but barely connect.

Round 2: Lopez lands several jabs and Roman starts throwing right uppercuts to Lopez's body. Lopez responds with a few right hands of his own. Lopez throws a couple of body shots. Roman misses on a right hook. Both guys give and take for a while with just jabs. Roman lands an uppercut and right hand.

Fightful scored round 2 for Roman 10-9

Round 3: Roman throws several punches to Lopez's body. Lopez and Roman aren't connecting on a lot of punches thanks to both men's superb defense in this fight, with Roman barely getting hit throughout the fight. Both men exchange a jab to the opponent's face.

Round 4: Roman works the body and eats a left hand by Lopez. Roman then connects a solid left jab to Lopez. The two boxers trade jabs to the face. Lopez tries to go for the body, but Roman dodges out of trouble. Roman lands a couple of uppercuts and then hits a strong left hand and knocks down Lopez. Lopez gets back up and is knocked down again seconds after the first knockdown. Roman unloads hammer shot after hammer shot and Lopez is cut. Lopez spends a long time on the ropes eating all the punches that Roman can throw.

Round 5: Roman goes on the offensive again and Lopez is moving around the ring. Lopez is on the ropes, but he gets out quickly. Roman connects on a right hand and Lopez is not backing down. Lopez throws a couple of short uppercuts to Roman's body. Lopez then connects on a left hand and the two men exchange several punches to end the round.

Fightful scored round 5 for Roman 10-9

Round 6: Lopez is throwing body punches and Roman is not connecting on his punches. He does get a counter right hand in. Lopez then hits Roman with a right hand. Roman is hitting on his body shots more effectively in the second half of the round. Roman keeps throwing more punches and Lopez is still landing his fair share of shots.

Round 7: The two men don't throw a lot of punches in the early going. Roman lands an uppercut.Lopez is throwing several punches. Roman lands an overhead right punch and Lopez's left eye is starting to swell a bit. Roman connects on a left uppercut to that swelled up eye. Roman connects a swift and hard right. Lopez lands a left hook to the side of Roman's body.

Fightful scored round 7 for Roman 10-9

Round 8: In betwen rounds, Lopez's trainer said he'll stop the fight if Lopez doesn't turn the fight around. Roman connects on a left hand, followed by an uppercut. Lopez throws three straight left jabs. Roman is not taking advantage of the possibility that he could win the fight via stoppage. Lopez only connected on one punch in the first 90 seconds. Roman lands a straight right punch. Lopez is not doing damage on the very few punches that he's connecting. Lopez's trainer said he's continuing the fight for at least one more round.

Fightful scored round 8 for Roman 10-9

Round 9: Lopez is throwing short punches, but they are either missing or blocked. Roman lands a couple of hard left body shots. Lopez is back against the ropes, absorbing the damage similar to the end of the fourth round. Roman connects on a counter right jab. Roman hits Lopez with a strong right jab. Lopez connected on only seven punches in the first two minutes. Roman is hitting hard on his body shots as the round ends.

Lopez's trainer stops the fight, saying that "he's done."
