In the main event of the June 30 Top Rank on ESPN card from Las Vegas, Saucedo outpointed Sonny Fredrickson throughout 10 rounds, constantly throwing a barrage of punches that had Fredrickson on the ropes. Saucedo won with scores of 100-90, 99-91 and 98-92.

Saucedo started off well, mixing up his punches and letting his left hand go to work on Fredrickson's head and body. Towards the end of the opening round, Saucedo staggered Fredrickson with a flurry of punches, but was able to avoid getting knocked down. That didn't mean that Fredrickson was off the hook.

Saucedo would go on to dominate the following two rounds, pressuring Fredrickson and pinning him on the ropes with a steady flurry of power punches. Fredrickson would start to gain some momentum in round four by utilizing his jab and reach as Saucedo's punch output would start to go down. Fredrickson wasn't able to do a lot to truly turn the tides in his favor. Saucedo recovered in the second half of the fight as Fredrickson started retreating to the ropes and was unable to match Saucedo's activity.

In terms of punch output, Saucedo threw 885 total punches to Fredrickson’s 584 and Saucedo also outlanded Fredrickson 318 to 172. This is Saucedo's second straight win since he unsuccessfully challenged Maurice Hooker for the WBO junior welterweight title back in 2018.
