MAIN EVENT
Gervonta Davis vs. Ricardo Nunez: WBA “Super” Super Featherweight Title
Round 1: Nunez starts jabbing away and throwing body shots, coming forward to the champion. Davis lands a left jab to the body. Davis then connects with a short right-hand shot to the body. Nunez blocks a left hook from Davis and both men briefly trade punches. Davis lands a jab upstairs, then a left hook upstairs. Davis lands a left hand late in the round and is looking more comfortable at the end of the round.
Fightful scored round 1 for Davis 10-9
Round 2: Nunez catches Davis with an uppercut and corners the champion at the start of the round. Nunez then tries to cut the ring off for Davis and Davis misses with the short hook. Nunez barely lands a left jab upstairs. Davis hits Nunez with a right body shot. Davis staggers Nunez and throws a flurry of punches. The referee steps in and Davis retains the title!
