A member of the United States Marine Corps, Herring made his professional boxing debut in 2012. After going 2-2 from 2016-2017, Herring would end up on a seven-fight win streak. In 2019, Herring won the WBO Junior-Lightweight Title against Masayuki Ito. Herring has defended the title three times, last beating Carl Frampton in April via TKO.

Stevenson, 24, made his professional debut in 2017. An Olympic silver medalist, Stevenson beat Joet Gonzalez in 2019 to become the WBO Featherweight Champion. He would relinquish the belt in order to focus on the junior-lightweight division. Stevenson beat Jeremiah Nakathila in June and is looking to make history with a win.

Shakur Stevenson def. Jamel Herring via TKO (1:30 into round ten) - WBO Junior-Lightweight Title

Xander Zayas def. Dan Karpency via TKO (corner retirement after fourth round)

Zayas landed combination shots to the head throughout the first. He was active and landed efficient shots. Body shots were landing in round two as Karpency missed key shots. Zayas would continue to be the aggressor, pushing Karpency back against the ropes. Both land big shots in third with Zayas getting the better end of the exchanges. An uppercut by Zayas made Karpency lose his mouthpiece. The corner calls off the fight after the fourth round.

Nico Ali Walsh def. James Westley II via TKO (2:30 into round three)

Westley started with body shots and a big right to the face of Ali Walsh. Ali Walsh responded with combination shots and hooks to the body. Nico landed some jabs, and then connected with rights to the face of Westley. Big right by Ali-Walsh to close round one. Overhand right by Westley to start round two, with multiple thrown. Ali Walsh would then land multiple calculating shots. Right hand knockdown by Ali Walsh. Another knockdown ten seconds into round three. Westley's corner then threw in the towel.
