Booker nails Miller with a kick to the midsection before getting him against the cage wall, the fighters clinch and exchange some strikes. The referee separates the fighters for inactivity, the action resumes with Miller attacking Booker with a combination. Booker gets Miller against the cage wall after attempting an overhand right, The fighters separate and Miller lands a few knee strikes a short time later. Booker again gets Miller against the cage wall while exchanging some strikes, the fighters separate as the round ends.

Booker scores a takedown on Miller and he gets the full guard, Miller causes a scramble to get the fight standing again. Booker gets Miller against the cage wall while exchanging strikes with him, the referee separates the fighters for inactivity. The action resumes with Miller attacking Booker with a front kick, Booker scores another takedown on Miller and he gets the full guard. Miller scrambles and he catches Booker in a guillotine choke, Booker escapes to maintain top position on Miller. Miller scrambles again and he gets back control against Booker, Booker spins at the right time to regain top position against Miller. Booker catches Miller in an arm triangle choke from out of nowhere to force a tap out.
