Raymundo Beltran's chance at winning a second world title on June 28 ends at the scales.
Beltran, who will face IBF lightweight titleholder Richard Commey in the main event of a Top Rank on ESPN card from Temecula, California, was nearly two pounds over the limit, thus making him ineligible to win the title. The fight will proceed as scheduled, and if Commey is able to come at 145 pounds or under at the IBF-mandated second-day weigh-ins, Commey will remain champion regardless of the fight's result.
