Rafael Dos Anjos has solidified himself near the top of the UFC Welterweight division.
A former UFC Lightweight Champion, Rafael dos Anjos has his sights set on his second title after defeating former champion Robbie Lawler at UFC on Fox Winnipeg. Though Lawler put forth a valiant effort, dos Anjos dominated the well-traveled veteran for the duration of five rounds.

Round Five: The round begins with Lawler cracking a swinging Dos Anjos with a counter right, Dos Anjos backs a swinging Lawler into the cage wall while landing a combo of his own. Dos Anjos scores a takedown on Lawler and he gets him in the seated position, the referee stands up the fighters for inactivity. The action resumes with Dos Anjos getting Lawler against the cage wall, Dos Anjos backs away for a few moments to swing away at Lawler. Dos Anjos catches Lawler with a right to the midsection as they separate, Dos Anjos attacks Lawler with a flying knee strike followed by a punching combination as the round ends.
