Rocky Marciano Jr. Says Mayweather Doesn’t Deserve Win #50 In Super Fight

Rocky Marciano Jr. Is the son of the legendary boxer Rocky Marciano, who died almost 50 years ago in a plane crash.

When it comes to a potential Floyd Mayweather win in the super fight this Saturday Night, it is a win that Marciano Jr. says shouldn?t count as #50.

?No matter what happens, I don?t think it should go towards Mayweather?s professional career (record), win or lose,? Marciano Jr. told USA TODAY Sports. ?This fight to me isn?t a true boxing match.?

The legendary Marciano Sr. Got a record of 49-0-0 as a professional boxer, but he retired before getting that coveted 50th win.

As far as the actual super fight goes, it?s a bout that Marciano Jr. isn?t really interested in.

?It?s not a fight that I?m interested in,? he said. ?I see the interest in it, but I don?t think it?ll be an interesting fight.?

Conor McGregor versus Floyd Mayweather takes place on Saturday, August 26 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
