Ronda Rousey Says She Won’t Fight Again After Gina Carano Bout

Ronda Rousey is set to return to the cage on Saturday when she faces Gina Carano. It will be Rousey’s first fight since December 2016, when she suffered back-to-back knockout losses to Amanda Nunes and Holly Holm.

During her time away from MMA, Rousey had multiple stints with WWE and brought two children into the world.

The fight against Carano will take place under the MVP banner.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani on the Ariel Helwani Show, Rousey was asked if she would return to the UFC if she defeats Carano.

“To the UFC, to fight? No. I promised my husband that this is the last one. He is the one that I have to convince to get on board with this promoter shit after. He’s not going for the fighting at all after this. Honestly, I want to get started having babies again right away. I want to have at least two more, if I can. I can’t be taking detours anymore. This is the peak. I can’t go higher than this. This is the dream fight and the absolute pinnacle for me. This is the perfect way to end it,” she said.

Rousey vs. Carano will stream on Netflix.

While making the media rounds. Rousey discussed her run in WWE. You can find her comments here.
