Ronda Rousey Submits Gina Carano In 17 Seconds

Ronda Rousey made short work of Gina Carano at MVP MMA 1.
Promoted as the biggest women’s fight in UFC history, Ronda Rousey tapped out Gina Carano in 17 seconds via armbar.
Rousey landed an immediate takedown as Carano threw a leg kick, was right into mount, and landed a couple of punches before locking in the armbar and forcing the tap out.
After the fight, Rousey and Carano embraced with Rousey calling Carano her hero.

This was Rousey’s first fight since 2016 when she was KO’d by Amanda Nunes. She had multiple stints in WWE after her UFC run. This was Carano’s first fight since 2009 when she was stopped by Cris Cyborg. She notably starred in “The Mandalorian” after her MMA career.
