Rumble Johnson Criticizes Fighters Who Retire Too Late

MMA

Anthony “Rumble” Johnson shocked the MMA world by announcing his retirement from the sport after UFC 210, where he suffered a second submission loss to UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier.

Even though it has been less than a month since the fighter retired, it hasn’t stopped him from taking shots at unnamed fighters who he believes should be retiring.

Johnson took those shots with a post on Facebook:

The fights that Johnson “watched last night” is in reference to this past weekends UFC Fight Night 108 event.

At UFC Fight Night 108, fighters such as Diego Sanchez, Jake Ellenberger, Joe Proctor and Matt Schnell all suffered KO/TKO losses. Johnson does not name any fighters in particular during his short Facebook rant, but it could’ve been aimed at any of those four.

For the record, the now retired Johnson earned 16 of his professional MMA wins by KO/TKO and just suffered one loss in his career by KO/TKO.
